Taylor Swift has emerged victorious in her lawsuit against a US radio host after a jury ruled that the singer was groped at a concert in 2013. As People reports, it took just six days in a Denver courtroom for the jury to decide that David Mueller had assaulted Swift during a backstage meet-and-greet at her show at the Pepsi Center, where he was accused of groping the pop star underneath her skirt. Though Mueller counter-sued the 27-year-old artist for slander and that her claims ruined his career, the judge said the DJ failed to show any evidence that Swift had attempted to get him fired. As requested, Swift has been awarded $US1. "I want to thank Judge William J. Martinez and the jury for their careful consideration, my attorneys Doug Baldridge, Danielle Foley, Jay Schaudies and Katie Wright for fighting for me and anyone who feels silenced by a sexual assault, and especially anyone who offered their support throughout this four-year ordeal and two-year long trial process," Swift said in a statement. "I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial…

The one-hour program, SHOWCASE AUSTRALIAintroduces listeners every week to singles, new releases and charted hits that are currently at Australian country radio by Australian artists - signed and unsigned - well known and emerging.
